c̓əsnaʔəm means “the Great Marpole Midden” in Halkomelem, a language of First Nations peoples of the British Columbia south coast region. c̓əsnaʔəm was a major ancient Musqueam village and burial site located at or near the current location these panels are installed.
Combining traditional Coast Salish designs with a modern aesthetic, these large, vibrant panels adorn the side of a warehouse complex.
