“Spinning through time”, by @colesparrowcrawford, is a series of fabricated spindle-whorls documenting the modernization of traditional practices & materials in Coast Salish design. They are located at the entrance to one of five departments located at UBC Gateway.

Each spindle-whorl is fabricated with both reclaimed red cedar and old growth reclaimed red cedar, as well as V-carved anodized aluminum and copper elements.
